Astralis, a Danish organization owned by players of the former Danish Team TSM or TeamSoloMid with the help of Frederik “realition” Byskov to form the team in 2016. Led by Danny “zonic” Sorensen as their coach, everyone has high expectation with the team. The first event they qualified was in January 2016 in DreamHack Leipzig 2016 and with team beating high caliber teams such as mousesports and Dignitas, Luminosity got the best of them where they lost 0-2. During this run, 3 players from their original lineup are still active today. device, dupreeh and Xyp9x.
These 3 players from Astralis who had their astonishing run under the flag of Astralis since 2016 are now in the Millioniare’s club. The team had a very successful run this year, winning notable tournaments such as ECS Season 6, IEM Chicago 2018, BLAST Pro Series Istanbul, FACEIT Major 2018, ELEAGUE CS:GO Premier 2018, ECS Season 5, ESL Pro League Season 7 and DreamHack Masters Marseille 2018. And with this run, dev1ce, dupreeh and Xyp9x are the first CS:GO players who reached the million dollar mark from their total winnings from prizepools.
